A FESTIVAL OF LIGHT FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY STAGED ON THE QUAYS OR THE OLD PORT OF MONTREAL AND RIGHT IN THE MIDST OF OLD MONTREAL!

The Hydro-Québec Celebration of Light is an irresistible excuse to get out of the house; just ask any of the thousands of Montréalers and tourists who stop in at the event for an out-of-this-world winter experience. Now in its ninth year, the freewheeling outdoor portion of the Festival invites all partygoers and winter lovers to come live it up in historic Old Montreal and on the Quays of the Old Port.

Every day brings something new: check out free family activities such as the ice slide, the skating rink, aerial and urban fireworks displays, the cozy braziers, concerts, the torchlight procession, DJs and VJs rocking our heated sphere !

Whether you are among friends or family, you won’t find a more contagiously fun way to take charge of the winter season, especially during the Festival’s two long weekends, from Thursday, February 21 to Sunday, February 24 and Friday, February 29 to Sunday, March 2, 2008.
